I.T.S Engineering College, Gr. Noida, is conducting a 25 days Entrepreneurship Development Program from 24thFeb to 28th Mar 2020. The program is fully sponsored byNational Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB)and Department of Science and Technology-Govt. of India (DST) under DST-NIMAT Project. This program is proposed to impart knowledge, understanding & Skills to foster entrepreneurial competencies and to envision new perspectives in this domain area. This program creates an awareness of the need and importance of entrepreneurship and encourages young entrepreneurs to become successful in life.
The inaugural session was started with lightening of lamp, followed by the inaugural address by the Chief Guest Mr. O. P. Singh, General Manager, NSIC Govt of India;Dr. S.P. Mishra, Advisor-ITS Groups; Dr. Vikas Singh, Executive director, I.T.S The Education Group.
The Chief Guest Mr. O. P. Singh, General Manager, NSIC Govt. of India, started the session with highlighting that India is witnessing an upsurge of technology-driven and Knowledge- based enterprise.Whether it is the field of conventional business or any other modern business a sudden spurt in the number of new ventures or start-ups have taken the country by surprise. Mr. O.P. Singh also encouraged students by informing them that they will get an opportunity to acquire needed competencies to choose entrepreneurship as an alternate career option.He also informed that EDP is aimed to train young technologically graduate students with an entrepreneurial and professional mindset so that they may become future job providers instead of job seekers.
On this occasion, Dr. Vikas Singh, motivated young enthusiastic minds coming from different organizations. He informed the students that from past five years the interest in entrepreneurship has increased drastically. Now students are more interested in knowing various policies, government schemes, marketing strategies, promotion methods etc. to know all these techniques this 25 days long program is sufficient enough to help in finding confident entrepreneurs with excellent ideas to convert them in successful business proposals.
