About 500 NCC Cadets from different schools are participating in the ten day CATC-126 NCC camp which is being organized under the aegis of 40 PV Corps, NCC Secunderabad, at Delhi Public School, Greater Noida from May 20 to 29, 2019.
Group Commander, Brigadier S. S. P. Sinha while addressing the cadets said that they should follow the principles of NCC and implement the same in their lifestyle, then only they will be able to lead an ideal life. He also stated that ‘discipline’ and ‘character’ are the two traits to be successful. Motivating the students further, he quoted examples of many distinguished personalities who have been a part of NCC.
On this occasion, Mrs. Renu Chaturvedi, Principal DPS Greater Noida in her address to the students said that a self restrained life of orderliness is a key to greater glory. The sports activities included in the NCC training program enables the students to become more competent. The camp was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Niranjan-CO NCC battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Siddharth Singh, Admin Officer, SM Shaitan Singh, Headmaster Mr. Narendra Singh (DPSGN), Mr. Avdesh Kumar Yadav – NCC Boy’s Care Taker and Ms. Nirmala Rathore and Ms. Kalpana Chauhan – Girls Care Taker (DPSGN).
