On 27th April seven-time medal winner in world championships and Olympian M.C Mary Kom visited Shaheed Bhagat Singh Boxing Academy, Greater Noida. She was in the stadium to meet champions of Jeet Maan Memorial Boxing Tournament.
On 21st April the stadium had hosted 1st Jeet Maan Memorial Boxing Tournament in which organizers had invited M.C Mary Kom but due to her busy schedule, she was not able to attend the event. Hence she visited the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Boxing Academy on Saturday to meet tournament champions to cheer them.
During her interaction with players, she said: “Sports is the only way through which one can achieve health and wealth and can also bring laurels for the nation”.
All the players were very happy and excited after meeting the boxing legend.
