With great pride, we share that Dr Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR was conferred with the highly prestigious award, “Exceptional Women of Excellence” at Women Economic Forum, 2019 at Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka, New Delhi on April 15, 2019 .GLBIMR was showcased as the Academic partner of the event and Dr Makkar was invited as one of the eminent speakers at the Forum, where she presented her insightful views on the topic- “Reclaiming Prosperity with Equity”. It attracted over 2000 women from 120+ countries making it the largest ever diverse global event.Dr. Makkar emphasized the importance of having an equal society and how women can shape the future of the country. Through her own experience sharing, she motivated and inspired many women at the forum to live their dreams to the fullest.
