Greater Noida (15/4/2019) : The White Coat & Annual academic award ceremony was organised by ITS –CDSR in Vikram Sarabhai auditorium on 15th April 2019. The Ceremony involved the official handing over of the White Coat to the BDS 3rd year students, which they use in clinics while treating patients followed by dental oath, where they pledge to follow medical ethics and do beneficence for the patients. Academic awards and cheques were also given to the C.C.S University toppers & College toppers from BDS 1st year to BDS Final year, in addition, Improvement awards in the form of certificate and gifts were also distributed for dental undergraduates.
The gathering was addressed by Shri Mr. Arpit Chadha, Vice-Chairman I.T.S – The Education Group. In his speech, he congratulated and motivated the students to excel in their dental field with incorporation of world class clinical skills & research in their practice. He also emphasised that dental practice is a noble profession and recommended prospective dental surgeons to always follow righteous path in their clinical practice. This noble tradition is started by the I.T.S, as white coat is a symbol of their commitment to excellence in science and patient care.
Main highlight of the function was that, total 27 University positions out of 40 were bagged by the I.T.S –CDSR, Muradnagar. This was followed by the Academic improvement awards, to acknowledge the students who have improved significantly in their academic positions as compared to previous year.
The event was also graced by Dr. R.C. Gupta, Principal LLRM Medical College, Meerut and Superintendent in chief, SVDK Hospital as a chief guest and Dinesh Rai (IAS Retd) as a special guest of the occasion. The Dental oath was administered in front of Vice chairman- I.T.S – The Education group & Hon. Chief Guest, the students were inducted in the clinical practice.
I.T.S Centre for Dental Studies and Research was established in the year 2000 by Dr. R.P. Chadha sir (Hon’ble Chairman, I.T.S- The Education Group) and is located on Delhi-Meerut Road, Murad Nagar, Ghaziabad.
