GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida, conducted its 14th Management Development Program (MDP), on “Data Visualization with Big Data Analytics" on Saturday, April 06, 2019under the guidance of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR shared that the aim of this MDP was to enhance the knowledge of corporate managers and academicians on role and importance of Big Data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This would help them to make more informed strategic and tactical decisions for sustainable business growth. It was aimed to equip the participants with Big Data analytics tools for sorting and analyzing the structured and unstructured data in real-time. The MDP also facilitated the participants to understand the global best practices in Big data analytics and data visualization techniques.
The event witnessed participation of delegates from various corporate houses, academia, research scholars and student fraternity. The Key Resource Persons of the event were Mr. Deepak Kumar Bagchi, Enterprise Architect and Head – AI, Enterprise Analytics and IoT Labs at SLK Software Pvt. Ltd and Mr. Nitin Sethi, Sr Solution Analyst at McKinsey & Company Mr. Deepak has 19 years in the technology track, spread across IT industry and Academia. He has worked with Infosys Technologies in past. Mr. Sethi has competence on Alteryx , SAS, SQL, SSIS, Excel, VBA, Tableau, R, SPSS, SSIS, Fuzzy Logic etc for various kinds of analysis. He has also developed the tool for the procurement and spends analytics on SQL
In line with the legacy of MDPs organized by GLBIMR, this event was also highly interactive and involved brainstorming activities among the participants and trainers. All the delegates were conferred with Participation Certificates. The success of the event was synonymous to GLBIMR’s leadership in Industry interface amongst premiere management education institutions.
