I.T.S Engineering College, Gr. Noida, is organizing a 3 days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp at Gautam Budh University, Gautam Budh Nagar; from 28th Mar to 30th Mar 2019. The program is fully sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The goal of this program is to make students aware of the different areas of skills where they can establish themselves as an Entrepreneur and create a job for others.
On the very first day, the program was started with lamp lightening by the dignitaries – Prof Bhagwati Prakash Sharma, Vice Chairman, Gautam Budh University, G.B. Nagar, Dr. S.P. Mishra, Advisor, I.T.S The Education Group and Dr. Vikas Singh, Executive Director, I.T.S The Education Group.
Dr. Vikas Singh started the session with highlighting that India is witnessing an upsurge of technology-driven and Knowledge-based enterprise. Whether it is the field of conventional business or any other modern business a sudden spurt in the number of new ventures or start-ups have taken the country by surprise. Later on, Dr S.P Mishra explained the need for entrepreneurship and highlighted how the entrepreneurial system has evolved in recent times.
He talked about various career options after graduation and motivated the students to take maximum benefit of the growing nation by venturing into entrepreneurship. Prof Bhagwati Prakash Sharma, VC, Gautam Budh University, motivated students for being job providers instead of job seekers. After this, a brief question-answer session with the students was conducted to know about their ideas, views and perception about entrepreneurship.
