Today the Yemeni cultural attaché visited Gautam Buddha University and met Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. B. P. Sharma along with Dr. Neeti Rana, Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The Cultural Counsellor first met all the Yemeni students of the University with Dr. Arvind Kumar Singh, Director International Affairs and later, they meet the Hon’ble VC to discuss the relationship between Yemen and India in the education field and the aspects of developing and empowering the capabilities and professional skills of the Yemeni students in the University.
During the discussion, talks on starting some programmes related to Graduation in Petro-Chemical, and other programmes have been discussed which are of the interest of students of Yemen and other Middle East Countries to get more and more international students. They also discussed about cultural similarity between India and Yemen.
It was a very fruitful interaction in which we have come to a decision to finalize a memorandum of understanding between Yemen students and GBU in consultation with Yemen embassy in New Delhi and Department of Higher Education in Yemen.
