GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR) hosted the Delhi State Finale of the Country’s most acclaimed musical show, 38th Surtarang- National Talent Hunt Program by Sangam Kala Group, at its Greater Noida Campus, on September 11, 2018. The eve of the finale was commenced by the ceremonial lamp lighting by the Chief Guest- Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR shared that the inauguration ceremony also witnessed the presence of Mr. VSK Sood, National President, Sangam Kala Group, Mr. Shahid Waheed Khan, Vice President, Sangam Kala Group, Mr. Sunil Rajoria, General Secretary, Sangam Kala Group, Mr. RS Shukla, Vice President, Sangam Kala Group,Faculty,Students and the GLBIMR Fraternity.
Mr. Pankaj Agarwal extended his gratitude to the organizers and congratulated the finalists. He conveyed his best wishes to the participants for an enthralling performance during the final audition round, for making the event a great success. Mr. VSK Sood, National President, Sangam Kala Group extended his heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, for hosting this Mega event at the campus and acknowledged the hospitality of GLBIMR. The trio of Kshitij Mathur (Classical Vocalist), Aditi Sharma (Actor) and Padmaja Chakraborty (Singer) were the esteemed juries of the mega event. The audience were also overwhelmed with the melodious voices, when the celebrity singers like Saroj Mishra (Renowned Playback Singer), Mohit Chopra (Indian Idol Fame), Shreya Basu (The Voice Kids Fame), Alankar Mahtolia (Rising Star Fame), Manas Mishra (Renowned Singer) and Sandeep Mishra (Renowned Singer) mesmerized the audience with their melodious, energetic & rocking performances. More than 400 talented aspirants from across NCR came in for the Delhi Finals.
