Ryan International School, Greater Noida organised a FIRE SAFETY WORKSHOP to train the students to deal with emergency situations on 1st August 2018 in the school amphitheatre.
Mr. Gyan Prakash Sharma, Station Fire Officer, UP Police Department, Greater Noida addressed the students about the fire safety Measures. He spoke about the classification of fire ( A Grade- E Grade fire) types of fire extinguishers and methods of fire extinguishing.
The team also displayed the working of powder fire extinguisher and water fire extinguisher to the students. They also demonstrated how to handle fire extinguisher in which the students participated enthusiastically and got to know how to deal with fire related situations, not only this they demonstrated working of fire brigade, after the session students asked the questions and the department was very pleased to see them and answering their questions. They also made the students aware of safety measures to be taken in case of fire and also road safety especially during rainy season.
All the students put up their queries which were answered to their satisfaction. It was truly an enriching hand on learning experience for the students as well as the teachers.
The school Head also instructed & motivated the students to be aware, united & active in case on any emergency situation.
