On 23rd March CSR branch of BIMTECH foundation and Rangnath society for social welfare and library development had laid down the foundation stone for the construction of library for women prisoners and children’s in the district jail of Gautam Budh Nagar.
During the inauguration ceremony mentor of BIMTECH foundation Shakti Doli wife of DIG Jail remained present at the event along with her children. She also shares similar concerns about the prisoners and also had a conversation with Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi, Director of BIMTECH over the same topic fees days back.
Speaking at the event Dr Harivansh Chaturvedi detailed that in earlier phase these women and children’s library will be constructed only in those jails where library by BIMTECH foundation is all ready existing. Further detailing about the library he told that this library is one of its kind in the country which will be managed completely by women prisoners.
