Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S-the Education Group was conferred with prestigious Lord Beden Powell National Award, 2019 in an award ceremony organized by Scout Guide Organization (SGO) in New Delhi on 22nd February,2019 by his Excellency, Governor of Assam Sh. Jagdish Mukhi.
This award ceremony is organized every year in honor of Lord Beden Powell, Ex- British Army Officer and Founder of Scout Movement, launched on 22nd February,2007 on World Scout Day.
The motto of this award is to promote his idea and well known philosophy for the brotherhood, prosperity, peace and tranquility and hence eminent persons at national and international level are honored with such an outstanding award for their significant work in the field of Social Development, Youth Development, Human Development, Social Awareness, Women Empowerment, Academic Leadership, Community Leadership, Business Leadership, Cultural Leadership, Fine Arts , Culture. Literature, Media and environmental issues.
Generally 15 persons are shortlisted from various fields depending upon the achievements of the individuals and their benefit to the society, nation and community and the Award is conferred to those distinguished people by the President of India, Vice President, Prime Minister, Home Minister, Governors of the states and high officials of Government of India.

For this purpose, the institute runs “Parivartan” –the slum education programme & “Utthan” facilitating economically deprived meritorious students. The Institute also regularly organizes Blood donation camp, Dental treatment camp, Tree-plantation campaign and Clothes donation camp in the slum areas of Ghaziabad with sincerity and devotion by engaging teachers and students for effective implementation of CSR activities.
