Greater Noida: A case of forgery came to light in a residential society under Kasna Police Station, Greater Noida. where a man allegedly debited Rs. 45 thousand from the account of a washer-man who use to work in residential society.
When the accused called the victim he was busy in some family function so taking benefit of the situation he introduced himself as bank staff and gathered the ATM card details and debited 45 thousand from account victim’s account.
Sundar Lal a native of Firozabad who lives in sector p-3 with family as per victim he is saving this money from last one year for her daughter’s marriage. On 28 January he had his daughter engagement ceremony when he got the phone call and the caller asked him to give his ATM card details introducing himself as a bank staff and then after he debited 45 thousand from victims account. Victim had registered a complaint to police regarding the incident.
