Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida become has become the first B-school to integrate Government of India’s Digilocker technique for storage of degrees, marksheets and other academic records on a cloud based platform.
The initiative is a way forward to adopt completely paperless admission process and digitize whole process.
One of the senior faculty members Manoj K Pandey said, "This is a first step in completing the digitization of our admission process. For last 33 years we have been working to improve our presence in Digital/Social domain to connect well with different stakeholders".
Another faculty member Saloni Sinha added, "Unde the scheme of Digital India, MHRD has set up the digital locker which will be a repository for degrees, diplomas and mark sheets issued by educational institute services. This only adds to the list of achievements in which BIMTECH leads as a front-runner".
