District Magistrate BN Singh has ordered for magisterial inquiry of Sumit gurjar encounter who was shot dead in an encounter on 3rd October in Greater Noida.
SSP Gautam Buddha Nagar Love Kumar had written a letter to DM BN Singh to initiate an enquiry in the encounter, which has thereafter become controversial following the allegations of dead accused’s family members.
However police officials maintain that there was no anomaly in the encounter and fires were shot in self defense as necessary.
SDM Ashwani Kumar Singh has been given the responsibility of conducting the inquiry and he will be submitting the report to the DM within One Month.
