GN GROUP OF INSTITUTE GNIT College of Pharmacy, Greater , organized a Guest lecture on the topic “The Ocean of Skills in life Sciences” in collaboration with life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) and Q Academy on 12th April 2024.
LSSSDC is a Vocational Education Awarding Body, approved & recognized by National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and working under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) for the Skill development initiatives in Life Sciences Sector. LSSSDC is mandated to establish a sustainable vocational education ecosystem for Life Sciences Sector, which includes Pharmaceutical (including AYUSH, Cosmetics, Vet-Drugs, Nutraceutical and CRAMS), Biotechnology (including Biologics, Agri Biotech and Allied Biotech), Medical Device (inclusive of Implants, Diagnostic Imaging & In-Vitro Diagnostics) and Research & Development Services (inclusive of CRO, CRAM, SMOs) Industry across the country.”
Dr. Nivedita Murkute, Sr. Director LSSSDC was the Chief guest and Mr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Head Government Projects, currently leading PMKVY 4.0 under LSSSDC was the honorable speaker for the event. Immense Opportunities that exist in the field of pharmacy with reference to Regulatory Affairs were discussed in depth during the session. LSSSDC is offering various projects in the areas of regulatory affairs, intellectual property rights, in vitro diagnostic devices, technical dossier guidelines for medical devices.
The event provided a platform for students to explore career prospects in the pharmaceutical sector. The collaboration between GNIT College of Pharmacy and LSSSDC and Q Academy reflects a commitment to nurture and empower future professionals in the pharmaceutical sector.
