Shadab Khan, a resident of Greater Noida has filed an FIR against Amrapali Group MD on forgery charges. The case has been lodged in Bisrakh Police Station. Shadab alleges that he had booked a flat in Dream Valley project proposed to come up in Greater Noida west.
Twenty five lakh rupees were paid in 2012 for the same and possession was promised within three and half years.
After waiting till October 2016 he started demanding his money back. In return he was paid six cheques of three lakh each. Other seven lakh rupees were deducted as non-refundable booking amount. However when the cheques were submitted in bank for clearance, all the cheques bounced.
The agitated buyer hence decided to approach police authorities with his grievances.
Police is saying that an inquiry has been ordered in the case and incident is being probed. Necessary action will be taken after due verification of charges.
