Sharda University holds its second Convocation
Greater Noida: Second annual Convocation held inside the premises of Sharda University on Saturday.
Hundreds of audience comprised of students, dignitaries, teachers,
and parents attended the Convocation in which 2909 students were conferred degrees.
Padma Bhushan Sri Sri Ravi Shankar while presenting the Convocation address said that the Convocation is the accomplishment of another stage.
"India is home for knowledge. It’s is not the ethical philosophy but as a whole it’s the traditional," said the Padma Shri awardee.
He said that Sharda University has grown as a flower as an institution.
He said that the studentship never ends but a student remains forever.
"Everyone is guru and everyone is teacher this role everyone should play," said the Guru.
He asked the students that the knowledge should be passion and compassion to drive the positive thinking from it.
He added that students should take philosophical subjects to make their life even more better.
Prof Vijay Gupta, vice-chancellor of Sharda university while addressing the audience said that Sharda university has started school for education, school for pharmacy and Sharda hospital and for the hospital we have been given permission from Medical council of India to start the medical programs in the hospital.
He said that Skill development programmes have been started for improving the academic and placement drives for students.
He added that 350 research papers have been published by our faculties in various national and international journals.
Dr. Mishra while addressing the Convocation said that the path which has been given to me by ma Sharda is the right path.

Y K Gupta, Pro-chancellor Sharda University congratulated all the students who were conferred degrees.
He said that students should rise and is the job of teachers and parents to rise them.
Today what you have to where but you should happily do the job with your positive thinking.

Chancellor Pradeep Kumar Gupta thanked the Chief guest Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for attending the Convocation and students.
"I am congratulating all the students who have passed their exams," said the chancellor.
He said that India has a high potential to deliver its output in the foreign countries.
He said that Sharda is one of the top university in the India.
