An IIT/IIM alumni initiative, Little Leaders Play School celebrated their annual function on the theme, Enchanting Milieu at DPS Indirapuram meerut road campus.
Over 400 students from four branches viz: Raj Nagar, Raj Nagar extn, Govindpuram and Gaur City participated in the event. The Annual Day of Little Leaders Play School, aptly named ‘Enchanted Milieu’, was a showcase of how amazing our world is. The two hour event brought the entire universe on the stage. The program began with traversing life from different planets of the universe, reaching different continents and thus getting a chance to meet different nationalities in the world. The plot of the annual day revolves around a child’s desire to be with his friends across nations, to fulfill his desire Mother Angel comes and takes him around the universe. At the end, Rohan our main character promises Mother Angel that he along with his friends would make this world full of love, peace, honesty and harmony among each other.
The children came dressed in the outfits of different nations and performed on interesting songs depicting their cultures. They performed on songs like “I am a Barbie Girl…in the Barbie world, tunglak tunglak, itbni is hasi, waka waka etc.”
As it is rightly said happiness comes in small packages, the little bundles of joy running helter skelter and coloring the Little Leaders Play School’s annual function with their imagination and creativity, certainly proved adage to be true.
A fabulous Fashion Show by the talented kids of Little Leaders Play School was followed by the dance performances. They walked the ramp with much confidence and joy. Enthusiasm of performing on stage was visible in their excitement. It was a delight to watch them perform with so much confidence in front of a huge crowd. Out of those who participated in fashion show, Master and Miss Leaders were announced. As each child is unique, certain parameters were set to judge them that included: Confidence, Costume, Speech, and Presentation.
The outstanding performances and giving away of the annual awards was graced by the Chief Guest Sh. Ashu Kumar Verma, Mayor, Ghaziabad and Guest of Honour Smt. Vinita Beri, renowned child psychologist. The luminaries gracing the occasion included, Mr. Abhishek Bansal, Member of DPS Indirapuram, Ms. Prem Lata, Mr. Kapil Gupta, Ms. Anu Gupta, Mr. Pradeep Jain, Mr. Rajeev Jain, Ms. Manta and Ms. Sujata.
Outstanding kids are: Sameeksha, Vedant, Saransh, Priyanshi & Saksham.
Ms. Anu Gupta, Chairperson, Little Leaders Play School said, "It is so heartwarming to see your child perform on stage. I feel proud of my teachers and students for putting in their best efforts to put up this wonderful show. This program confirms our commitment to excellence in both academics and all round development of a child." She further added, "I firmly believe that parents have all the power to nurture a happy and successful children, alone school cannot achieve this goal."
Children who participated in the program include, Naina, Rajvansh, Aarna, Kian, Vedant, Pihu etc.
