Greater Noida, Tuesday 14th June, 2023: CSE department of ITS Engineering College is organizing a one day Workshop on “Data Science & its Applications with Machine Learning” by Prateek Mishra. The workshop aimed to equip budding engineers with essential skills and knowledge in the rapidly evolving fields of data science and machine learning.
The opening of the program was made by welcoming the guests Prateek Mishra by Dr. Ashish Kumar, HOD-CSE, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida followed by a brief introduction about Prateek Mishra by Prof. Aditya Tyagi, Assistant Professor of CSE department. Prateek Mishra is Senior consultant in Softpro India Computer Technologies Private Limited. He is a IOT and machine learning expert and has conducted workshops in reputed institutes and trained students in various domains including IOT, Machine Learning & Data Science.
The first half of the workshop commenced with an engaging keynote speech by Prateek Mishra who highlighted the immense potential of data science and machine learning in solving complex engineering problems and revolutionizing industries. He emphasized the importance of understanding data-driven decision-making and the impact it can have on the future of engineering.
Following the keynote, participants dived into practical sessions, where they learned the fundamentals of data science, including data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, and feature engineering. They also gained insights into different machine learning algorithms and techniques, such as linear regression, decision trees, and neural networks.
The second half of the workshop focused on hands-on coding exercises and project work. The participants were divided into teams and provided with real-world datasets to apply their newfound knowledge and skills. Guided by experienced mentors, the students worked collaboratively to build predictive models and extract meaningful insights from the data.
The students of CSE & AIML 2nd year and faculty of CSED of I.T.S Engineering College attended the workshop.
Finally, Aditya Tyagi, Assistant Professor of CSE department, I.T.S Engineering College gave a Vote of Thanks Speech and Dr. Ashish Kumar, HOD-CSE, ITS Engineering College gave Token of Appreciation to Prateek Mishra.
