Principal of Grads International School participated in G 20 IF 20 conference

The Principal of Grads International School, Greater Noida, Mrs. Aditi Basu Roy was invited to participate in the G 20 Interfaith 20 summit at the Lotus Temple, the Baha’i House of Worship, New Delhi. Representatives from more than 20 countries and from all major religions of the world participated in the event.  The Programme was presided over by the Chief Coordinator of India’s G 20 Presidency His Excellency Shri. Harsh Vardhan Shringla. He has spoken how India is respectful to all religions, that is why The Republic of India has been declared as a secular state by our honourable constitution. From time immemorial India has been respected for open discussion, debate, democracy and learning from all, teaching all. The welcome address was given by Ms. Nazneen Rawhani and concluding address was given by Ms. Bani Dugal, Principal Representative, Baha’i International Community’s United Nations Office.

Thereafter, a soulful multi-faith prayer service, starting with a sloka from Shreemad Bhagavad Geeta, was conducted at the Lotus Temple prayer hall. Prayers from all major religions of the world were chanted.  A team of trained choir singers from Lucknow conducted this multi-religious prayer. It was a proud moment and an honour for Grads International School, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, to be a part of the G 20 summit.
