To commemorate the birth anniversary of famous Indian mathematician Sh.Srinivasa Ramanujan, CBSE ‘GANIT’ week was celebrated in our school Savitri Bai Phule Balika Inter College, Greater Noida from 16-22 Dec. To create interest among students towards mathematics and reduce their fear for mathematics,school planned various activities for them. A relay race was organized for students
of class I, students of class VI made different shapes in symmetric patterns. Students of class 7 were involved in solving Sudoku whereas students of class 8 solved crossword. An inter house quiz competition based on mathematics was held for students of class 9. Students of class 10 made clinometers in groups and measured the height of school building. Results of various activities are as follows:-
