Greater Noida, 20th April 2022: Aiming to nurture innovation in young minds, the Fr. Agnel School, Greater Noida on Wednesday inaugurated an Atal Tinkering Lab (ATK).
The inauguration event was graced by the Chief Guest, Director of Kusht Niyantran Evum Unmoolan Samiti, Fr Sebastian. While the guests of honours included the Parish Priest of St Joseph’s Church, Fr Vinoy who performed the puja and blessed all the stakeholders of ATL, Father Rodrigues Bento, Manager of the School and the Mentor of the ATL, Fr R. Thomas, Principal of Jesus and Merry School, Goswamy Sushil Ji Maharaj, Gajanan Mali, Founder of parichowk.com among others.
Speaking during the inauguration of Atal Tinkering Lab, Principal Sister, Pramilla said, “It is a platform for the talented students of the school to display their talents and innovative ideas. It can certainly pave way to achieve bigger milestones in the future. The job courses are changing rapidly today in India. This initiative by the central government and Niti Aayog encourages students to explore new ideas and arenas.”
“The lab is equipped with sophisticated machines and instruments such as lady printers and microcontrollers to inculcate technical and innovation-related skills in students,” Principal sister added.
“With an aim to bring theoretical concepts to life, the program is designed to equip students with critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and collaborative team work. ”
In his address, the chief guest Fr. Sebastian said, “Education is wealth and when it is invested in the young minds, it is an investment and power for the future of the nation. These young minds are our future, investment and resources, if they are guided, trained and imparted knowledge, they can take us to great heights.”
