Greater Noida, 11th July: Lloyd hosted the sixth addition COVID-19 webinar series on “Nutraceuticals: Inspiring the Current Therapy for Immune Support in Covid-19″ on Friday under the guidance of Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director, Lloyd Group of Institutions and the team from Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharm.).
The response for the webinar was overwhelming with 400+ registrations from Institutions like DPSRU, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, Amity University, Rame-esh Institute, Greater Noida, K.I.E.T and more. The resource person for this webinar was Dr. Kirti Soni, Head of Formulation Development, Dabur Research Foundation, Sahibabad.
She started the session with a brief introduction of COVID-19 background & the role of immunity in dealing with it. She talked about various drugs and formulations from Dabur Research Foundation which are proposed to boost the immune system and can prove to be useful in the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Soni discussed in detail about the ingredients of these formulations along with their roles. Besides, she mentioned about an immune-boosting kit about to be launched by Dabur especially for COVID-19. She detailed the efficacy & safety evaluations of these products.
Altogether it was an interesting & informative session which concluded with a series of questions from the participants.
