An Alumni meet “Sankalan 2020” was held at I.T.S. Engieering College, which is one of the prestigious institutes in Greater Noida. Around 250 alumni graduated in past 10 years in various disciplines including B.Tech, MCA and MBA have participated in this event. The current students welcomed each alumnus with traditional Hindu culture with roli-chandan, tika and sweets. The program was inaugurated by honorable vice chairman, Shri. Sohil Chaddha with lamp lightning ceremony. Dr. Vikas Singh (Executive Director) graced the occasion with his inspirational speech whereby he greeted and warmly welcomed the alumni and envisaged to have long-term relationship to their alma mater. He also highlighted that ITS college is among one of the three host institutes under U.P. having MSME incubation center. He urged the alumni to actively participate in the incubation center and turn their ideas into reality, which would be helpful to the society.
The current college students have performed several cultural activities followed by the energetic performance by “Vidyut Band” which has created the mesmerizing environment and entertained the distinguished guests present at the event. Further, the alumni have shared experiences related to their personal and professional deeds and shared some memorable moments of college saying that these will cherish as sweet memories in future endeavors. Apart of this, an important election was conducted for formation of “Alumni Association”. All alumni have voted to select each alumnus who stood up for different candidature including president, vice president, secretory, treasurer etc. The progamme ended with a lunch party and all alumni have enjoyed the event with zeal to attend the next alumni in the upcoming future. Dr. Sanjay Yadav, Dr. Gagandeep Arora, Prof. Manvendra Yadav and Prof Sandeep Kumar were present at the event.
