Ryan International School, Greater Noida took pride in hosting the CBSE North zone- 1 Skating Championship from 30th September till 2nd October 2019. At the culmination of the Championship the young participants from the entire North Zone – 1 showcased their agility and strength and astounded everyone through their commendable performances.
The Closing Ceremony of CBSE North Zone – 1 Skating Championship on 2nd October started by paying tribute to the Father of the Nation through a Freedom March by the young Ryanites.
The emphasis on speed was the defining characteristic of skating and this was what all students showcased on the final day of the Skating championship. The contestants competed with each other in 300 m, 500 m and 1000m skating races respectively, in U8/U10/U12/U14/U16/U19 categories. This Championship has brought in a fruitful new learning experience where the participants outperformed themselves to the best of their abilities. It was heartening to see the young athletes standing proudly, wearing medals and holding their certificates. All the participants were given participation certificates and the winners were awarded with medals and accolades.
All the participants mesmerized the audience with their best performance .The participants were awarded 72 Gold, 72 Silver and 72 Bronze medals. The best time clocked in Inline skating 300 mtrs was
