Following a number of theft and snatching incidents around the residential highrises, the local police have asked the societies to install CCTV cameras around their premises, especially in an angle in which the service lanes are also covered.
The notice was issued by the district police (Bishrakh police station) after several complaints were made by the residents, who demanded tough action against rising crime in the area. “Install CCTV cameras and lights in a way that a wide area of the society premises is covered, and the criminals can be identified.”
