The young Ryanities of Ryan International School, Greater Noida of classes III- V celebrated Earth day by being part of a Fashion show ‘style is Internal’ where students designed their costumes using waste material like old newspapers, plastic bottles, glasses, electronic waste etc. and walked on the ramp wearing them. Costumes were designed in a very creative and innovative manner.
The enthusiastic students, also took a pledge to save Earth to end the plastic menace and follow the motto of Reduce, rinse and recycle. An awareness regarding the conservation of resources was spread through this activity.
Some students were beautiful dresses made from Newspapers, garbage bags, plastic shreds, magnetic tapes, old C.D’s old wires, beads, bangles, and shells.
Students were very excited and took the initiative to prepare the costumes. The activity was conducted wonderfully and children were highly appreciated for their efforts.
