One Week Faculty Development Programme commenced at ITS, Greater Noida

CSE and ECE Departments of I.T.S Engineering College, one of the Premier Institution in the field of Engineering and Management Education successfully organized one week FDP from 09-13 July,2018 on “Internet of Things & it’s applications and Recent trends in Electronic Circuits & Systems” sponsored byTEQIP-III AICTE & Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The I.T.S Engineering College is one of the few Engineering College in Uttar Pradesh which has been selected by the University to organize this FDP in this academic session. The college has the legacy of creating facilities and environment to prepare faculty & students for new challenges. The conduction of this program has further strengthened this initiative. The basic objective of the program was to enhance the quality of classroom delivery of programs being run by the University and to foster a better environment for Innovation in the Academic Institutions.

The closing ceremony was marked by the presence of Dr. Vikas Singh, Executive Director, Dr. Gagandeep Arora, Dean Academics, Dr. Sanjay Yadav, Dean Student Welfare, Prof. Dinesh Chandra, HOD-ECE, Dr. Ashish Kumar, HOD-CSE & faculty of CSE & ECE department from I.T.S Engineering college and faculty participants from other reputed engineering colleges like GCET, Greater Noida, Amity University, Noida, IIMT, Greater Noida, AIMT, Greater Noida, DGI, Greater Noida also graced the occasion.

Dr. Vikas Singh, Executive Director of I.T.S Engineering College thanked the speakers for sharing their valuable knowledge on Internet of Things & it’s applications and Recent trends in Electronic Circuits & Systems” and gave token of appreciation to the distinguished guest Dr. Satyajit Das, Director, Cap Gemini India, Gurugram and Prof.(Dr.) D. R. Bhaskar, Professor Emeritus, ECE Department, DTU, New Delhi and expressed thanks to the University on behalf of the college for providing this rare opportunity to organize these FDPs and elaborated that such events not only encourages the faculty members to maintain their intellectual curiosity but also helps them in adapting to the changing technologies. In the end, certificates were distributed to the participants by Keynote speakers.
