30th November, 2017; I.T.S –EC, Greater Noida. I.T.S Engineering College, organized ‘Faculty Appreciation Award Function’, to acknowledge and appreciate the hard working faculty members. The program began at 3:00 pm at Naidu Hall. Chief Guest for this event was Prof. A. P Mittal, Member Secretary, AICTE, New Delhi. Guest of Honour was Shri. H.R.P Yadav, Director IEI, New Delhi. The program began by lamp lighting. The Director- Public Relations of ITS Education Group, Mr. Surender Sood was also present there, along with Dean AA, DR. Gagandeep Arora and Dean SW, Dr. Sanjay Yadav. The guests were felicitated by Director- PR and Dean SW. A brief description of award function was given by Sh. Surender Sood. He highlighted the importance of the event and also congratulated the faculty members on this occasion. He also motivated the faculty members to pursue their dreams and accomplish them.
Faculty members across the departments received award for their exceptional results of odd and even semester. 11 faculty members were awarded the ‘Star Faculty Award’ for their overall performance. One faculty member, ‘Dr. Ruchi Srivastava’ received an award of Rs. 25,000/- for her publication in renowned ‘Elsevier’ journal.
The program ended by vote of thanks by Dr. Gagandeep Arora, Dean Academic Administration. The institute has been following such practices to attract, retain and motivate the quality talent, and nurtures them to make the institute an institute of choice by all stakeholders.
