Greater Noida: Sooner all the street light of Greater Noida will be replaced with LED and work that is expected to start from next month. For this project, GNIDA has signed a pact with Ministry of Power as per that all the residential, Industrial, IT, and all Sectors Street light will be replaced by the LED.
After this, the consumption of electricity will get reduced to a very large extent as LED light consumes half of the power than normal light. This initiative will not only reduce the electricity bill of Greater Noida Authority but also an environment-friendly step. Authority ACEO KK Gupt confirmed the report.
