A Panel Discussion on Role of Youth in Nation Building was organized by Dakshina Foundation on January 10, 2018 at PGDAV College, Delhi. The event was organized under the astute leadership of Ms. Upasana Agarwal, Founder Director, Dakshina Foundation and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, who is the Co-Director of the Foundation. Dakshina Foundation is a group of dedicated individuals from the diverse diaspora, working towards giving back to the society. Their focus is to create awakening amongst the youth of country and make them realise their responsibilities towards the nation.
Dr. Makkar shared that since the youth of a nation shapes and moulds its present and paves the way for its future, this workshop is hugely relevant. The young generation shoulders a huge segment of the responsibility of nation building; not the politicians or the policy makers alone. The panel discussion was graced by Dr. R. K. Khandal, President R&D and Business Development, India Glycols Limited, Dr. Sanjay Shrivastava, Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna University, Ms. Kavita Dasan, Vice President, Talent Management, DHFL, Mr. Kamalendu Bali, Senior Director- Solutions, Concentrix , Dr. Pushplata Tripathi, Pro Vice Chancellor, GGSIPU, Ms. Anjali Sharma and many more senior business leaders from Corporate, Academia etc.
