#DadriLynching Case: Two Accused Get Bail from HC

Allahabad High Court on Thursday granted bails to two of the eighteen accused currently facing trial in the Dadri resident Akhlaq’s murder case. Arun, a professional veterinarian, who allegedly was the first person to claim the meat found to be beef, was granted bail by the honorable High Court.

Puneet, aged 25 years was also granted bail in the case. Both these accused are lodged in Greater Noida’s Luksar jail. Their advocate is waiting for the copy of HC orders to get them released.

With this new development family members of other accused who have been all along saying that most arrests were politically motivated, have got a new hope of justice.

It must be noted that Akhlaq’s alleged lynching by unidentified mob became a topic of national debates and discussions. Enquiry is still ongoing in the case and In Greater Noida trial court charges are yet to be framed against the suspects of the case.

Both the persons who have got relief from the HC are residents of Bisda village. Before them only three other minors have got bail in this one and half year old incident.
