I.T.S – The Education Group has been celebrating the New Year for its faculty,staff members and students every year. Continuing this tradition I.T.S Dental College, Greater Noida celebrated New Year 2017 Get-Together on 5 th January 2017.On this occasion, Dr. R.P. Chadha, Chairman, I.T.S – The Education Group wished all the faculty members & employees a very happy and prosperous new year ahead. Also present on this occasion were, Vice Chairman – Mr. Sohil Chadha, Secretary – Mr. B.K. Arora, Director- PG Studies – Prof. Anmol SKalha, Principal- Dr. Puneet Ahuja, who greeted the faculty members and employees and wished them a happy, healthy and hopeful New Year. Dr. G.K. Thapliyal Professor & HOD (Dept. of Oral Surgery) started the program by welcoming all the faculty and staff members on the occasion of New Year 2017 and wished success for all the awardees.This was followed by the presentation of “Outstanding Association Awards” in which the faculty and staff members who have been with I.T.S- The Education Group for 10years and 5years were felicitated with a certificate of appreciation and cash award. Director PG studies, Dr Anmol S Kalha enlightened the students and faculty about the “Future of Dentistry” and mentioned that the college is looking forward to incorporate all the latest technology to benefit the students and patients in the hospital. Principal, Dr. Puneet Ahuja gave a highly informative presentation on the various advanced academic additions in the form of short modules and courses for the superior teaching-learning methodology of UG and PG students at I.T.S Dental College. He informed students & faculty members that the courses will be available in house and will be conducted by renowned international and national specialists. This was followed by the exclusive panel discussion “Daant Ki Adalat” in which the students grilled the HODs (Panelists) on various aspects of dentistry. On behalf of I.T.S- The Education Group, Mr B.K. Arora, Secretary, wished everyone a happy & flourishing New Year 2017. He told that it is the endeavour of I.T.S – The Education Group to celebrate all such occasions with its employees as part of the I.T.S Parivar to preserve our culture and tradition. He also encouraged the faculty and staff members to strive and make the institute amongst the best in the country. The college band, “Pulse”, set the mood for New Year Celebrations with their melodious renditions of classic songs. It was an afternoon filled with joyous New Year greetings and was followed by a sumptuous “High Tea” for all faculty, staff members and students.
