I.T.S Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad organized Second National Seminar on “Gap Between Industry and Academia” jointly with Centre For Education Growth and Research(CEGR) and Launch of “CEGR I.T.S Ghaziabad Chapter”

The celebration was inaugurated with ceremonial Lamp Lighting by Prof. A. P. Mittal, Member Secretary, AICTE, Sh. Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S-The Education Group, Sh. Surinder Sood, Director (PR),Prof. Anju Saxena, Executive Director, Sunderdeep Group of Institutions Ghaziabad, Mr. A. S. Oberoi, Founder President, mbarecendezvous.com, Dr. S. K. Mahapatra, Director, Jaipuria School of Business, Ghaziabad, Dr. T. N. Pandey, Director(AKGIT, Ghaziabad) and Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director(Management),I.T.S Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad.

On this auspicious celebration Sh. Surinder Sood, Director (PR) delievered welcome address to all the distinguished guests, faculty members, corporate representatives and students. He emphasized on creation of a platform to address emerging and futuristic human resource needs of industry and to facilitate integration of skill based , research and training in close association with industry and policy makers.

Sh Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S- The Education Group addressed all the dignitaries and particiants present during the ceremony and stressed on promotion and development of industry based education system in India to make it globally competitive and to reduce ever increasing global skill set gap with the demand of business and industry and mentioned significant contribution of private institutions/universities towards ensuring quality based education at domestic and international level. He also emphasized on receiving grants and supports from government to encourage such steps by private institutions towards quality and employment based education.

The chief Guest Prof. A. P. Mittal, Member Secretary(AICTE) shared his efforts made by AICTE to ensure bridge between academia and industry in terms of revising and rescheduling contact hours in technical education and signing MOU with 1200 industries to facilitate Industry Institution Interface.

On this occasion Prof. Anju Saxena, Executive Director, Sunderdeep Group of Institutions Ghaziabad, Mr. A. S. Oberoi, Founder President, mbarecendezvous.com, Dr. S. K. Mahapatra, Director, Jaipuria School of Business, Ghaziabad, Dr. T. N. Pandey, Director(AKGIT) Ghaziabad) expressed their views on solidating strong bond between industry and institutions and evolving skill based education to ensure quality based education and employment to the students at both domestic and global level.

Sh. Ravish Kumar (CEGR) formerly declared I.T.S Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad as Nodal Center of CEGR Ghaziabad Chapter in presence of the Chief Guest Prof. A. P. Mittal, Member Secretary(AICTE)and other dignitaries on dias to facilitate better Industry Institution Interface and ensure employability of management students.

Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director (Management)shared concluding remarks and expressed his views over how to reduce gap between industry and academia and all possible future steps taken by both institution and industry.
