Sixth annual inter college technical festival organised at I.T.S Engineering College, Gr Noida

I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida organized the sixth annual intercollege technical festival, Techtrix-2018 on October 12, 2018. This technical fest included Robo-mania, Dronewar, Design Fabrication, Crack-O-Code, Gameon, Poster Presentation under its ambit. The objective of the event was to promote the “Make in India” initiative of the Government and to inculcate the entrepreneurship spirit among the young engineers. Organizing this type of event helps to promote innovation among the undergraduate engineering students through team work and interdisciplinary approach. It helps the students to showcase their technical ability with competitive spirit. Students of different branches of engineering from the host institutes and several other reputed Engineering Colleges of NCR region like Sharda University, NIET Greater Noida, GL Bajaj Greater Noida, Skyline Greater Noida, Delhi Technical Campus, Gr. Noida, Dronacharya, Greater Noida, KIET Ghaziabad, MIET Meerut, MIT Muradabad exhibited their innovative ideas before the experts from industry and academia

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sohil Chaddha, Vice Chairman of I.T.S-The Education Group. Experts and jury members from various reputed industrial houses and academic organizations evaluated the projects and motivated the students for their creative venture. The guests were welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Singh, Executive Director, Dr. Sanjay Yadav, the chairman of organizing committee, Dr. Gagandeep Arora, Dean Academics Administration and Prof. Manvendra Yadav, Event Coordinator of Techtrix-2018.

The event was a great success with more than 200 teams & more than 700 students, 100 prototypes/working models and 25 conceptual poster presentations acknowledged during the event. The expert committee for evaluation highly appreciated the participants for applying interdisciplinary approach to convert their technical thoughts into feasible product idea. The event was concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. Heads and faculty members of all the engineering departments were present to encourage the participants. The event was followed by cultural performance by the participating members form different colleges. The winning teams were facilitated by the Mr. Sohil Chaddha, Vice Chairman of I.T.S-The Education Group after the cultural program.
