‘CBSE National Teachers Award, 2017-2018 on Mrs I.P.Bhatia

Mrs. Inder Pal Kaur Bhatia, Principal of Sarla Chopra DAV Public School, Sector – 56, Noida_a women committed to the cause of Children Education for the last 33 years has been conferred with the CBSE National Teacher Award, 2017-2018 on 6th September, 2018 by Sh. Upendra Kushwaha, Hon’ble Minister of State for Human Resource Development (School Education & Literacy), Govt. of India at a ceremony held at ‘Shaurya’ CRPF Officers’ Institute, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. This award is bestowed upon her in public recognition of her valuable and commendable services rendered to the community for the cause of education.
Through her innovative instincts, Mrs. Bhatia has been evolving ways and means to make children education interesting and less of a burden for kids. Mrs. Bhatia has the distinction of being the first Principal to introduce ‘No Homework, No Bags, No Examination’ system upto class II at DAV Public School, Fatehabad (Haryana) and at DAV Public School, Noida in the year 1995 and 2000 respectively and relieve the young minds from unnecessary pressures which impede learning.

She has also introduced Self-analysis of answer sheets by students, Peer learning, Peer assessment in her school. Moreover in her school, students are involved in curriculum Planning and transaction and making code of conduct and class rules. Her school is proud recipient of most clean and green school award by world congress.
