Dronacharya students’ project selected for Prototyping Grant and Exhibition at AKTU


With reference to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow .The university had invited proposals for prototyping grant for which it received excellent response. The final result was declared on 7th May 2018.

The project SMART HELMET developed under the guidance of Asst.Prof. Mrs. Monu Singh by Shivam Yadav, Sunny Singh, Rakshit Sharma and Pankaj Ramola, students of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, was one of the project selected for Prototyping Grant and Exhibition in Kalam Library at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

After initial screening, thirty ideas were shortlisted for presentation which was made on 6th April 2018 at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The top 30 teams were selected on the basis of their abstract and feasibility.

Fourteen ideas were finally selected for prototyping grant and exhibition. The projects were gauged based on the applicants’ Scientific Thought, Engineering Goals, Creativity, Skill, Clarity and Commitment.

Through KCIIS, AKTU had provided an exciting chance for students to make innovative ideas heard on state platform where selected teams would get a chance for having start-up for their products as well as funding with Rs.12000. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University’s Entrepreneurship Development Programme promotes student having an idea that can solve an unavoidable real life problem.
