Grads International School, Greater Noida, in collaboration with Hospitality Lifestyle Mantra, organised the quarter-final round of Kids Fashion Week 2019, on its premises. The event was graced by Vijay Bhati, District President BJP; Satish Gulliya, BJP President Greater Noida; Deva Bhati; Aditya Sharma, District Coordinator BJP; Devendra Mukhiya; Manoj Kumar Singh, Manager, Greater Noida Authority; Munendra Nagar and Anu Kataria.
The esteemed panel of judges included Ms. Durgeshwari Singh, an eminent kathak guru in Greater Noida and Dr. Vineeta, Maxillofacial Surgeon. On behalf of Lifestyle Mantra, G. M. Vipin Khatana, Editor M Naveen Dwivedi, Emcee Rekha and other team members were also present.
After the grand success of preliminary round, the quarter-final round gained glory with its enthralling “Bollywood” theme. It was inaugurated with a patriotic song sung by little Ryan, followed by energetic and lively songs by Praveen and Banani. Children, who were selected from the previous round, came all decked up as various Bollywood characters. They showcased their ramp walk talent on the stage. The audience was spellbound by another song by Rashi, the student of class 7, which resonated the spirit of Republic Day.
The main objective behind the fashion show was to create awareness about creative career options among the students. This also helped in enhancing their confidence and personality. The school completely believes in the holistic development of a child and the fashion show event successfully contributed to teaching them life skills.
The show concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Aditi Basu Roy, Principal of Grads International School, to the guests, dignitaries and parents. She also appreciated the efforts of all the participants.
