One week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) sponsored by TEQIP – III (Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow) is organizing at I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida from 21 to 25 January 2019. The topic of FDP is “Advancements in Manufacturing of Composite Materials and their Mechanical & Tribological Aspects”. Dr.Sanjay Mishra and Dr. Zahid Akhtar Khan from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology Gorakhpur and Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi respectively have given the expert lecture on 24 January 2019. They share their knowledge with the participants in the field of composite materials.

Greater Noida Police had arrested an accused wanted in murder incident during a routine checking drive. On 23rd January Dadri Police has arrested the accused from Shapur Puliya around 8 in the evening.
Police had recovered a country made gun .315 bor along with 2 live cartridges and cash of seven thousand looted in an incident. The arrested accused named Chand a resident of Nayi Abadi under Dadri Police station has murdered Akthar Khan in 2016 since then he is fleeing from police.

Criminals equipped with weapons attempted loot in a liquor shop after getting unsuccessful criminals opened fire in the air and fled from the spot. The incident is of Shyam Nagar Mandi area Under Dhankur police station.
In the CCTV footage, a man can be seen with a weapon in his hand outside the liquor shop while his accomplice went inside to attempt the loot. After getting information police reached the spot successful nabbed one the criminal while the remained successful in fleeing from the spot.
A day ahead of metro inauguration a dozen of sanitation workers conducted a protest at Greater Noida Metro Deport Station. The sanitation workers alleged that their salaries were deducted from 12900 per month to 6600 which is very unfair to them. Sanitation workers said if this decision is not taken back then they disrupt CM program.
While the officials of NMRC tried to get rid of the matter stating that this matter is of DMRC.
